Details.. Lessons start at $250.00 for basic diving, and it only takes two to three weeks. It's as simple as 1 2 3. Here how it works.. You will attend classroom instruction at our store, for 10 to 12 hours. Classes start at 6:30 pm and last for about two hours. You will learn the basics of diving such as equipment and how to use it, and most of all, diving safety. You will then spend about 10 to 12 hours in the pool practicing what you learned in the classroom. After the classroom and pool you get to make a three day weekend trip to Florida to make your first real open water dive. This trip is usually to Panama City where your instructor will accompany you on some fascinating underwater adventures. When you complete the weekend, that's it! You will be a Certified Scuba Diver. Here is what you get and what you can expect to spend.. For your tuition you get: Instruction, Instruction Materials, Dive Card, Registration, and all Rental Equipment (BC Vest, Regulator, Weight Belt, Tanks) You will be required to buy your personal items which include: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Booties, and Gear Bag. Expect to spend about $130 for these items. On your Checkout Dive (the trip to Panama City) expect to spend: $65.00 per night per person (minimum of 2 nights) for your room. You will do three Shore Dives at no charge. Saturday Boat Dive - $85 Optional Sunday Boat Dive - $95 Your transportation, food, drink, and entertainment are, of course, extra. To recap..
