In February of 2018 we will make our third trip to Indonesia. I cannot emphasize enough the beauty and magnificence of this area of the world. Of all the places we have visited, this is without a doubt the finest. It most probably the best place on earth to dive in unspoiled areas. We will use the same basic plan used on the first two trips. We will fly first to North Sulawesi and spend three days getting over jet lag and diving the Lembeh Strait while staying at the Kungkungan Bay Resort, a world class dive location and resort. The worlds best "muck" diving is located literally directly in front on the resort. After Lembeh we will fly on to Sorong, where we will board the Damai II for 12 days of diving in the Raja Ampat area of Indonesia and, weather permitting, we will continue north of the equator into the Wayag area. The Damai II is a 150' vessel, designed for diving, and carries only 14 guest with a crew of 16. On this trip we will visit world class dive sights and expect to see Mantas, Ghost Pipe fish, Pygmy Seahorses, world War II wreckage, and most any other dive sights most people only read about. The entire trip will be 14-17 days and diving will be basically unlimited.
