In 2012 Sports Unlimited owners Tony and Patti Deas had the pleasure of diving Indonesia for the first time. While they had several previous Pacific dive trips, Indonesia is in a category all it's own. In 2014 they lead a group of divers consisting of Dr. Rick Lacuesta, his wife Della Lacuesta, Terry Craft, and Guinn Meinke on a 14 day adventure to back to Indonesia using the same basic itinerary. The first three days were spent at Kungkungan Bay Resort (KBR) diving the Lembeh Straight of North Sulawesi, Indonesia. This is arguably the best "muck" diving in the world. The group then traveled to the city of Sorong on the island of Papua Indonesia, where they boarded the motor vessel Damai II for ten days diving the Raja Ampat area and the world famous whale sharks of Cenderawasih Bay. Joining them on the Damai II were Lester and Linda Knutsen from Pennsylvania and Dr's Lucia Eneida Rodriques and Susana Braga from Brazil. After 10 days of the most fantastic diving possible, the Deas's, Terry Craft and Guinn Meinke spent three days decompressing in Singapore while the remainder of the crew went their own ways. A fantastic trip enjoyed by all!
